Twins announce schedule updates for this week's series vs. Red Sox

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – Following consultation with Major League Baseball, along with local and state officials, including law enforcement agencies, the Minnesota Twins have announced that today’s (Tuesday, April 13) 1:10 p.m. CT game against the Boston Red Sox will be played as scheduled, with Target Field gates opening at 11:30 a.m. CT. Additionally, the club announced that yesterday’s (Monday, April 12) postponed contest will be made up tomorrow, Wednesday, April 14, as part of a straight doubleheader.

The first game of tomorrow’s doubleheader will be the regularly scheduled 1:10 p.m. CT contest, with the second (the makeup of Monday’s game) beginning approximately 30 minutes after the first game ends. Per Major League Baseball rules for the 2021 season, both games of tomorrow’s doubleheader will be seven-inning contests.

Fans holding tickets for Wednesday’s originally-scheduled 1:10 p.m. game will receive admission to both games of the straight doubleheader. Tickets remain available and can be purchased at twinsbaseball.com.

Twins Season Ticket Holders with tickets for Monday’s postponed game will receive credit back on their account. Single-game buyers holding tickets purchased directly from the Minnesota Twins for Monday’s postponed contest will also receive credit, which can be used for a future 2021 home game. Additionally, those fans holding tickets for Monday’s postponed game will receive two complementary tickets to a future weekday (Monday-Thursday) value or select home game during the 2021 season (Monday’s ticket holders will receive further communication directly from the Twins).

Tickets that have been purchased from a secondary market reseller cannot be refunded by the Twins. Fans holding tickets that have been purchased through a secondary ticket reseller must consult that reseller for ticket information.
