Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves named April’s National League Player of the Month presented by Chevrolet; Matt Chapman of the Toronto Blue Jays named April’s National League Player of the Month presented by Chevrolet

All-Star outfielder Ronald Acuña Jr. of the Atlanta Braves has been named the National League Player of the Month presented by Chevrolet for April, and All-Star third baseman Matt Chapman of the Toronto Blue Jays has been voted the American League Player of the Month presented by Chevrolet for April.

Acuña claimed his second career NL Player of the Month Award, previously winning in April 2021, and is the first Braves player to win the honor since his All-Star teammate Austin Riley in July 2022. Chapman earned his first career AL Player of the Month Award, and became the first Blue Jays player to be named since Marcus Semien in May 2021. In addition, Chapman is the first Jays player to win for the opening month of a season since José Bautista in April 2011.
