World Baseball Classic Inc. today debuts its first-ever original tournament soundtrack for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Produced by two-time GRAMMY-winner Tainy, the official three-track soundtrack captures the rhythm and competitive fire that mirror the spirit of the World Baseball Classic. Known for redefining the sound of global music, Tainy has brought together a world-class roster of talent, including Becky G, YEONJUN of TOMORROW X TOGETHER and Myke Towers, starring in the anthem track – “Make It Count.” Fujii Kaze and Young Miko join on the additional tracks inspired by the collective energy of the baseball community, celebrating the diverse cultures of fans around the globe. The soundtrack, distributed by Republic Records, is available now on Spotify, Apple Music and where music is sold. It will also be featured across MLB and the Classic’s social media platforms, in-park activations and throughout broadcast coverage of the tournament.
Renowned producer Tainy is stepping up to the plate as the Official Music Producer for the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Spearheading the tournament’s sonic identity, Tainy created a first-of-its-kind custom soundtrack for Major League Baseball. To ensure a global vibe, the project will feature multilingual tracks in Japanese, Korean, Spanish and English. A multiple-time GRAMMY winner recognized for his work with industry icons like Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber, and Dua Lipa, Tainy brings his signature technical expertise—alongside the creative input of Albert Hype and Jota Rosa—to the anthem track and additional songs inspired by the universal pulse of the game and the electric energy of fans from across the world.
The anthem track for the tournament, "Make It Count," features a powerhouse lineup of international talent, bringing together global superstar Becky G, Gen Z Icons TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s ultimate all-rounder, YEONJUN and six-time Latin GRAMMY nominee Myke Towers. By combining these distinct musical genres—ranging from Latin pop and reggaeton to the precision and energy of K-pop—this collaboration reinforces the Classic’s status as an event that brings together multiple cultures through global music and international baseball.
Adding to the collection are artists representing the diverse tapestry of the baseball world. GRAMMY-nominated global star Young Miko delivers “MVP,” a track that channels the pride of her native Puerto Rico and the island's deep-rooted connection to the game. Joining the celebration is Japanese genre-bending artist Fujii Kaze with the cross-cultural collaboration “My Place,” honoring the spirit of the sport and the championship legacy of Japan. Together, these artists showcase how baseball’s rhythm resonates across different languages and borders, uniting fans in celebration of the World Baseball Classic.
"The World Baseball Classic is a special celebration of national pride and elite competition that resonates far beyond the diamond,” said Uzma Rawn Dowler, MLB Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President, Global Corporate Partnerships. “By collaborating with a visionary like Tainy to produce our first-ever original soundtrack, we are leaning into the intersection of sports and music to connect with fans on a deeper cultural level. Bringing together the influence of these talented musical artists from around the world allows us to amplify the energy of the tournament and showcase the vibrant spirit that defines modern baseball.”
