Additional COVID-19 Protocols
In addition to working with a Health & Safety consultant, the Mariners have designated a COVID-19 Site Supervisor for each store location. This individual is responsible for ensuring the following are adhered to:
- Staff successfully complete mobile-based self-screening for COVID-19 symptoms prior to reporting for their shift;
- Cleaning/disinfecting protocols for all stores;
- Occupancy levels and social distancing for staff and customers;
- Initiate and oversee Recovery Plan in the event an employee exhibits COVID-19 symptoms while at work or tests positive for the virus;
- Providing daily reports to the Seattle Mariners Retail Infection Control/Prevention Coordinator to identify areas or individuals in need of support or training.
Infection Control/Prevention Coordinator
COVID-19 Supervisors and store staff will work closely with the Retail Infection Control/Prevention Coordinator (ICPC) who is in close collaboration with Health & Safety Consultant Mark LaPalm. The ICPC will monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety protocols that are mandated by the Seattle Mariners, Major League Baseball and local health authorities.
