Twins launch virtual fan engagement opportunities

MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – The Minnesota Twins today announced their initial 2020 virtual fan engagement offerings, which feature unique in-ballpark, broadcast, mobile app and social media opportunities. These initiatives, which could expand as the season progresses, are part of the organization’s ongoing efforts to provide fans with the safest and most entertaining way to be part of Twins baseball in 2020.

Target Field Fan Photo Mosaic

When Minnesota’s Bomba Squad launches balls toward left field during home games this season, they will do so under the watchful eyes of thousands of Twins fans. The Twins are asking fans to submit a photo of themselves, which will then be made into a physical mosaic measuring 53 feet high by 38 feet, seven inches wide, and secured into section 331 of the U.S. Bank Home Run Porch at Target Field. The mosaic, which will feature the likenesses of more than 3,000 fans, will be visible by Twins players and as part of broadcasts on FOX Sports North.

To submit a photo, fans should please visit twinsmosaic.com/registration.

Season Ticket Holders on Broadcasts

Fans may not be able to attend games at Target Field as the season begins, but Season Ticket Holders will still be present in every Twins broadcast in 2020. Selected fans will be given the opportunity to add their own personality and message to each telecast on FOX Sports North and across the Treasure Island Baseball Network, by creatively recording a greeting that shows their individual passion for Twins baseball.
