What's Happening This Week at Phillies-Nationals Series, July 5-7

On Tuesday, July 5, the Phillies will kick off their three-game series against the Washington Nationals at Citizens Bank Park, wrapping up their final games at home for the first half of the season! Here’s a look at all the promotions, theme nights and fun surrounding the games, as well as other know-before-you-go information.

1. The Phillies will host their 13th Jewish Heritage Celebration during Tuesday’s 7:05 p.m. series opener. Highlights include:

2. Fans are invited to take part in the inaugural I Phillies Night presented by the Temple Heart & Vascular Institute at Wednesday’s 7:05 p.m. game! This special theme night will celebrate the life-saving work of the Temple Heart & Vascular Institute, as well as provide awareness on how fans can keep their heart healthy.

Also happening on Wednesday, the Phillies are teaming up with KLYR Rum to recognize military veterans and first responders at every home game with the debut of the ‘KLYR Rum K-Counter of the Game.’ The hero will have the unique experience of operating a new K-Counter in Section 148, which will showcase every strike out thrown by a Phillies pitcher. The ‘KLYR Rum K-Counter of the Game’ will also be recognized for their service every pregame on PhanaVision.

4. The first half of the season at home will wrap up with the series finale against the Nationals on Thursday at 4:05 p.m.

5. Help your favorite Phillies advance during the final vote for the Chevrolet MLB All-Star Balloting, from 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 5 until 1:59 p.m. on Friday, July 8.
