Top Things to Know for Phillies vs. Padres (July 20-22)

The first-place Phillies start the second half of the season with a three-game series against the San Diego Padres (July 20-22) at Citizens Bank Park. Below are the top things to know.
On Friday, July 20, the 11th annual Italian Heritage Celebration will take place at the 7:05 p.m. Phillies game. The first 1,500 fans to purchase tickets through this Theme Night promotion will receive an exclusive Phillies Italian Heritage Celebration soccer jersey available only at phillies.com/themenights.
Also happening, Harlem Globetrotter and American Ninja Warrior finalist Bull Bullard will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. The Delaware resident is known internationally for his trick shots.
W.B. Mason Team Photo Night takes place Saturday, July 21! As soon as gates open at 5:05 p.m., fans can go onto the field (limited field access) to take photos with players, broadcasters, the Phillie Phanatic, the Galapagos Gang, Phillies Ballgirls and more - taking place before that night's 7:05 p.m. game.
Saturday is also Bud & Burger Night! Phillies alum Gary "Sarge" Matthews will be at the Boardwalk Eats Burger stand near the Left Field Plaza from 5:30 - 6:45 p.m. to sign autographs and chat with fans. Fans 21+ are invited to enjoy specials on Budweiser throughout the ballpark. Plus, at the Hatfield grill stands at Sections 106, 120, 135 and 136, and the Boardwalk Eats Burger stand, discounts on Bud & Burgers will be available.
On Sunday, July 22, all fans will receive a pair of PECO Phillies Socks at the 1:35 p.m. Phillies game.
Also happening from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m., author Bill Kashatus will sign copies of his book, "Suicide Squeeze," on the Main Concourse behind Section 111.
During the entire homestand, Phillies players' favorite items are up for bid at the Phillies Wives Pro-Pack Auction benefitting Phillies Charities, Inc.! Fans everywhere can bid on Pro-Packs filled with the favorite items of Phillies players, coaches and the Phillie Phanatic, including signed baseball memorabilia and assorted items such as favorite books, games, movies and snacks. All bidding will be through the Ballpark app starting on Friday, July 20, until Tuesday, July 31. Fans holding tickets to the Phillies games on Sunday, July 22, and Wednesday, July 25, can view the Pro-Packs at the First Base Gate Plaza and meet the Phillies Wives.
Gate Openings: Ashburn Alley opens two hours prior to game time; all other gates open one and a half hours prior to game time.
