White Sox Announce 2016 Broadcast Schedule

The Chicago White Sox, Comcast SportsNet, WGN-TV, WPWR-TV/My50, WLS-AM 890 and WRTO-AM 1200/Univision Radio have announced the team's television and radio broadcast schedule for the 2016 season.
Comcast SportsNet (CSN and CSN+) will televise 107 games, beginning with Opening Day on April 4 at Oakland (9:05 p.m. CDT). CSN also will broadcast the White Sox home opener on April 8 vs. Cleveland (3:10 p.m. CDT).
WGN-TV will air 35 White Sox games this season, opening its broadcast slate on April 5 at Oakland (9:05 p.m. CDT). WPWR-TV will continue in its second season as a Sox broadcast partner, televising 20 games. WPWR will air its first game on April 13 at Minnesota (7:10 p.m. CDT).
All CSN, CSN+, WGN-TV and WPWR-TV telecasts will be available in high definition. Game times and television networks are subject to change.
The White Sox will make three appearances on ESPN, beginning on April 6 at Oakland (9:05 p.m. CDT). ESPN will continue its national coverage at U.S. Cellular Field on May 4 vs. Boston (7:10 p.m. CDT) and at New York-NL on May 30 (12:10 p.m. CDT). All three broadcasts also will be televised locally on CSN (April 6 and May 30) and WPWR (May 4).
CSN will air the first game of the crosstown series vs. the Cubs on Monday, July 25 at 7:10 p.m., and WPWR will broadcast the second game (7:10 p.m. CDT) at U.S. Cellular Field. When the series moves to Wrigley Field on Wednesday, CSN will televise the game at 7:05 p.m., and WGN will air the finale on Thursday (7:05 p.m. CDT).
Ken "Hawk Harrelson begins his 32nd season in the White Sox television booth in 2016. Harrelson will call the play-by-play for all road games (with the exception of the Toronto series in April), the White Sox home opener and the Cubs vs. Sox two-game series at U.S. Cellular Field (July 25-26). White Sox broadcaster Steve Stone, who enters his eighth season in the television booth, will continue to provide fans with the color analysis during the season. Harrelson and Stone have worked together since 2009.
White Sox broadcaster Jason Benetti, in his first year with the club, will call the play-by-play alongside Stone for 78 of 81 home games, as well as the three-game series at Toronto. Benetti's first game in the booth will be on April 9 vs. Cleveland (1:10 p.m. CDT). Harrelson, Benetti and Stone will call all games on CSN/CSN+, WGN and WPWR.
WLS-AM 890, in its first year as the White Sox flagship radio station, will broadcast all 162 games. The on-air duo of former Sox pitcher Ed Farmer (play-by-play) and former outfielder Darrin Jackson (analyst) returns for its eighth season together. Connor McKnight will join the radio team as host of the pregame and postgame shows on WLS.
WRTO-AM 1200/Univision Radio returns for its second consecutive year as the Spanish-language radio home of White Sox baseball following a seven-year run from 2005-11. WRTO-AM will broadcast 75 Sox games during the 2016 season, including Opening Day, the home opener and both games vs. the Cubs at U.S. Cellular Field. Hector Molina (play-by-play) and Billy Russo (color analyst) return as the club's Spanish-language broadcast team.
