White Sox announce Avisaíl García arbitration ruling

A three-member arbitration panel ruled today that outfielder Avisaíl García will receive a salary of $6.7 million in 2018, the amount requested by the player. The hearing was held yesterday in Phoenix.
García, 26, hit .330 (171-for-518) with 27 doubles, five triples, 18 home runs, 80 RBI and 75 runs scored over 136 games last season, his fifth with the White Sox.
