White Sox Unveil Design for Bobblehead Honoring Ken 'Hawk' Harrelson
The White Sox celebrate legendary broadcaster Ken "Hawk" Harrelson's one-of-a-kind look throughout his baseball career and iconic voice in the broadcast booth with the exclusive SoxFest 2018 Hawk talking bobblehead.
The SoxFest 2018 bobblehead is a throwback tribute to the time when Harrelson graced the cover of Sports Illustrated on September 2, 1968, in a powder blue leisure suit, earning the description, "the boulevardier of the American League," from the magazine. The look is topped with an oversized cream-colored cowboy hat and signature sunglasses, which became important elements of Hawk's stylish flair as he moved from the baseball field to the broadcast booth and front office during the 1980s.
Known best for his colorful catchphrases and popular nicknames, the Hawk bobblehead will feature some of Harrelson's iconic phrases like "He gone!" and "You can put it on the board, yes!"
