Spent the year recovering from Tommy John surgery which he had in September, 2019... Did his rehab at a facility in Lancaster, PA, near his home... Spent a lot of his down time working on his Masters Degree in Sport Administration from Ohio University...Began the program in August of 2019 before his injury, and hopes to have it completed this spring.

Led the team with 68 appearances and 18 holds...Went 31.1 innings without allowing a homer from July 3, 2018-April 13, 2019...Gave up seven hits over 19 scoreless outings (16.1 IP, 5BB/20K) from Aug. 25, 2018-March 30, 2019...His 16.1 scoreless frames was the 5th longest active streak in the Majors at the time...Landed on the injured list from May 23-June 3 with left ulnar neuritis...Picked up his lone win of the season on July 29 at KC (1.1 IP, 1H, 1K)…Left the game on Sept. 13 vs. NYY with a left elbow injury after facing one batter...Underwent Tommy John reconstructive surgery on the ulnar collateral ligament in his left elbow on Sept. 18 in Dallas with Dr. Keith Meister.

On April 22, 2016 vs. Lakeland, combined to throw a no-hitter along with Brad Allen and Adonys Cardona...It was the first no-hitter recorded by Dunedin since 1992 ... Promoted to Double-A New Hampshire on June 20, 2016 ... Sent back to Dunedin on Aug. 4, 2016 after appearing in 14 games for the Fisher Cats (4.11 ERA, .281 opp. avg.) ... In 42 relief appearances between Dunedin and New Hampshire in 2016, combined to produce a 2.25 ERA with 30 walks and 65 strikeouts over 64.0 innings.

Posted career bests in WHIP (1.37), ERA (3.07), opponents' batting average (.238) and H/9 ratio (7.92) during the 2015 season at Class-A Lansing ...
