MILWAUKEE -- With another dramatic, late-inning comeback, the Brewers are first in baseball to reach 90 wins.
Down to their final out after the Cubs took a two-run lead in the top of the ninth inning, Christian Yelich kept the game alive with a pinch-hit single and Jackson Chourio launched a tying, two-run home run to extend the night for a thrilling 10th inning, when rookie Luis Lara roped a walk-off single into left field for a 4-3 Brewers win Tuesday at American Family Field.

With their 40th come-from-behind victory, the Brewers became the first team in the Majors to reach 90 wins, putting them within a day or two of clinching a postseason berth for the eighth time in the past nine years. The outcomes later in the night for the Padres and D-backs would determine whether that first opportunity comes Wednesday against the Cubs.
Jacob Misiorowski was a spectator for the late-inning drama, having held the Cubs to one run on four hits in 6 1/3 innings with nine strikeouts and a fastball up to 104.5 mph.
