Since being called up, Carlos Gómez's wheels have shown no wear and tear. Thursday, he proved he can run with only one shoe. On Sunday, he made the Mets' first five-star catch of the season.

The 33-year-old made a great diving catch in the Mets' 4-3 series finale victory over the Tigers after running 63 feet in 3.8 seconds to rob Dawel Lugo of a hit in the top of the sixth inning. The play had a 20% catch probability.

In the eighth inning of Friday night's game, Gomez robbed Christin Stewart of a hit, climbing the wall in left-center.
