OAKLAND -- The Dodgers placed right-handed reliever Daniel Hudson on the 10-day disabled list on Tuesday with right forearm tightness and recalled switch-pitcher Pat Venditte.
Hudson last pitched on Friday night, throwing two hitless innings with a hit batter and wild pitch in the Dodgers' 2-1 loss to the Astros. He is 3-2 with a 3.92 ERA in 38 games and has a 2.36 ERA since June 2.
The Dodgers have 11 pitchers on the DL -- Hudson, Hyun Jin Ryu, Dennis Santana, Ross Stripling, Julio Urías, Alex Wood, Josh Fields, Tony Cingrani, Yimi García, Erik Goeddel and Tom Koehler.
This is Venditte's sixth callup this season.
Ryu rehab update
Ryu's rehab start was shifted from Double-A to Triple-A on Tuesday night, and the lefty allowed one run on five hits in five innings with three strikeouts and no walks against Reno, throwing 71 pitches. Ryu has been out since May 3 with a strained left groin.
