Homestand Highlights vs. San Diego Padres (May 29-31) & Miami Marlins (June 1-3)

The Washington Nationals return to Nationals Park for a six-game homestand against the San Diego Padres (May 29-31) followed by the Miami Marlins (June 1-3). Tickets for Nationals home games can be purchased at Nationals.com/Tickets or at the box office.

The six-game homestand includes the return of the Postgame Summer Concert Series presented by Harris Teeter and Coca-Cola featuring Taio Cruz, two giveaways – a CJ Abrams baseball card bobblehead and a kids Racing Presidents hat presented by Harris Teeter; and three Special Ticket Events - William & Mary Day, Youth Baseball and Softball Day presented by Inova, and Caribbean Heritage Day.

FRIDAY, MAY 29 vs. SAN DIEGO PADRES (6:45 P.M.)

• Postgame Summer Concert Series presented by Harris Teeter and Coca-Cola: Taio Cruz
  • Taio Cruz will bring his Dynamite show to Nationals Park for first show of the returning Postgame Summer Concert Series.
  • We won’t Break Your Heart: Postgame concerts are free to attend with the purchase of a game ticket. Cruz will take the stage approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

• Kids Eat Free Program Returns
  • Beginning with Friday’s game and available throughout the summer, children 12 and younger can each receive one free meal when attending a Nationals home game.
    • A free kid’s meal includes one hot dog, a bag of chips and a bottle of water. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available.
  • To redeem a free kid’s meal, adults must scan their ticket with their child present at one of the designated concession locations before the seventh inning.

• WTTG FOX 5 and Gray Media Over-the Air Simulcast
  • Through partnerships with WTTG FOX 5 and Gray Media, Friday’s game against the San Diego Padres will be the fourth of 10 regular-season games that will be simulcast live, providing fans in Washington, D.C. and additional outer markets with a free, over-the-air viewing option.
  • WTTG FOX 5’s Chad Ricardo will host a pregame show leading into the Nationals.TV game broadcast called by play-by-play announcer Dan Kolko, analyst Kevin Frandsen, and host and reporter Alexa Datt.

  • 20,000 fans will receive a CJ Abrams baseball card bobblehead.

• Nationals Youth Baseball Academy Day
  • The Nationals Youth Baseball Academy uses baseball and softball as a vehicle to foster positive character development, academic achievement and improved health among youth living in D.C.’s underserved neighborhoods.
  • The Nationals Academy’s eighth-grade Scholar Athlete graduates and program volunteers will be recognized in a special pregame ceremony, and will throw out the ceremonial first pitch, deliver the lineup, make the call to “Play Ball!” and create a tunnel for the Nationals starting lineup as they take the field.

  • The Nationals join MLB in its annual remembrance of Lou Gehrig, the legacy of the New York Yankees first baseman who passed away from ALS, and all those lost to the disease that bears his name.

  • Proceeds from the 5050 Raffle will benefit I AM ALS and the ALS Association.
