LATEST INJURIES

INF Enmanuel Valdez
Injury: Dislocated left shoulder
IL date: May 9 (transferred to 60-day IL on May 14)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Playing catch out to 120-130 feet. He is anticipated to start hitting within the week. (updated Sept. 24)

C Endy Rodríguez
Injury: Right elbow inflammation
IL date: June 7 (transferred to 60-day IL on June 13)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Underwent ulnar nerve transposition surgery performed by Drs. Neal ElAttrache and Steve Shin at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Aug. 12. He is expected to start throwing in the coming weeks and be ready for Spring Training. (updated Sept. 24)

OF Ronny Simon
Injury: Torn labrum in left shoulder
IL date: Aug. 30 (10-day IL; transferred to 60-day IL on Sept. 23)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Diagnosed with a torn labrum in his left shoulder. Surgery will take place in October after the bone heals before operating on the labrum itself. If all goes well, he could be cleared for all baseball activities in early March. (updated Sept. 23)

RHP Jared Jones
Injury: Right UCL sprain
IL date: March 27 (retroactive to March 24; transferred to 60-day IL on March 31)
Expected return: 2026
Status: Has started playing catch at 60 feet three times a week. He’s on the original trajectory to return to game-like activities 10-12 months after his surgery in May. (updated Sept. 17) More >>
