COLORADO ROCKIES ANNOUNCE 30TH ANNIVERSARY DETAILS FOR 2023
The club will celebrate 30 seasons of Major League Baseball in the Mile High City with alumni appearances throughout the season and Coors Fields’ first ever drone show
DENVER – The Colorado Rockies announced today plans for the season-long celebration of the team’s 30th anniversary in 2023. Throughout the season, the Rockies will celebrate the historical moments, milestones, players, fans, and people that have contributed to the club’s 30-year history. Elements include alumni appearances, special 30th anniversary-themed giveaway items, and the first ever post-game drone show at Coors Field.
Rockies alumni will be invited back for a series of games throughout the season. Each game will celebrate the alumni’s contribution to Rockies history with a pre-game recognition, video and content highlights, and 30th anniversary-themed giveaway items.
The Rockies will also host the first ever post-game drone show at Coors Field. Following the Aug. 19th game, fans will be invited to stay and enjoy the professional light show which will feature 200 drones flying in choreographed formations accompanied by music and video. The drone’s formations will create and showcase symbols of Rockies baseball, the 30th anniversary and highlight elements of the state of Colorado.

Along with these special events, The Sand Lot Brewery will feature a special 30th anniversary beer brewed inside the stadium, souvenir 30th anniversary cups will be available throughout the stadium (while supplies last) and in-game and social media content and giveaways will take place at every home game throughout the season.
