Cleveland Indians announce August 6 game vs. Texas Rangers postponed

CLEVELAND, OH -- The Cleveland Indians announced today’s (August 6) game against the Texas Rangers has been postponed due to inclement weather and has been rescheduled for August 7, starting at 1:10 p.m. ET as a traditional doubleheader. All gates will open at noon ET for the traditional doubleheader.

Fans holding tickets to the originally scheduled August 7 game who want to attend both games of the doubleheader may do so and will have the same seat for both games. Fans holding August 6 tickets purchased through Indians.com must exchange into either one of two later dates (9/3 vs. CWS or 9/17 vs. DET) or the traditional doubleheader on August 7 by first pitch (fans will have same seat for both games). Fans are able to use the full value of their August 6 tickets in their My Indians account when exchanging into the designated games (additional fees may apply). Tickets not exchanged for tomorrow’s game must be exchanged by Wednesday, August 21 at 5 p.m. ET.

Season Ticket Holders

Season Ticket Holders can exchange for tickets to any game that is available through the My Tickets Exchange program starting tonight at 9 p.m. ET.

Single-game Ticket Purchasers

Indians.com purchasers holding tickets dated August 6 from the Indians (Indians.com) must exchange their tickets online only at Indians.com/mytickets for one of the following options: August 7 DH vs. TEX (must exchange by first pitch), Sept. 3 vs. CWS or Sept. 17 vs. DET. All exchanges must be made no later than August 21 at 5 p.m. online only at Indians.com/mytickets. All District Tickets and tickets purchased at the Progressive Field Box Office, Team Shop must call 216-420-4487 for any exchanges.
