Minnesota Twins Homestand Highlights: July 21-26
MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN – After going 5-2 on their last roadtrip, the first-place Minnesota Twins return to Target Field tonight for their eighth homestand of the season, a six-game stay. The Twins first welcome American League Central division rival the Chicago White Sox for three games from tonight-Sunday, July 23. When the South Siders depart, Minnesota will host the Seattle Mariners for three games from Monday-Wednesday, July 24-26.

TWINS VS. CHICAGO WHITE SOX: TONIGHT (FRIDAY, JULY 21) – SUNDAY, JULY 23 (3 GAMES)
Friday, July 21 vs. Chicago White Sox (7:10 p.m.; gates open at 5:00 p.m.)
Theme Night – Country Night (SOLD OUT): Fans who purchased this sold-out theme night package will receive a ticket to the game and an exclusive Twins-branded cowboy hat.
Riding High: Weather permitting, a mechanical bull will be available out at Gate 34, for fans to have a true honky-tonk time.
An Acrobatic Ceremonial First Pitch: Olympic gold medalist and St. Paul native Suni Lee will throw out a ceremonial first pitch, as part of Gymnastics Day at Target Field. Fans can catch Lee, Simone Biles, Gabby Douglas and other Team USA gymnastics stars when Target Center hosts the U.S. Olympic trials for men’s and women’s gymnastics from June 27-30, 2024.
Ceremonial First Pitch – Daktronics: In recognition of the Twins’ partnership with Daktronics on the Scoreboard 2.0 project, a ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Brock Wallen, a senior project manager who has been with Daktronics for 20 years.
A Swab Can Save a Life: For Donate Life Day and to raise awareness of the need for organ and stem cell donations, Be The Match will have a booth inside Gate 34, where fans can swab to join the blood stem cell donor registry.
Friday Night Fireworks presented by Securian Financial: The Twins’ summer-long Friday Night Fireworks presented by Securian Financial returns, featuring a country music-themed show.
Saturday, July 22 vs. Chicago White Sox – Back to School Weekend presented by Target
(6:15 p.m.; gates open at 4:00 p.m.)
- Gate Giveaway – Back to School Backpack: The first 5,000 fans aged 12 and under will receive a Back to School Backpack presented by Target.
- Backyard Baseball: On both Saturday and Sunday, Bullseye’s Backyard presented by Target will be set up inside Gate 34, featuring interactive activities including Big Catch, Run the Bases and a coloring mural to let kids of all ages leave their mark on Target Field. The activation also provides the opportunity for kids to print their own baseball cards, win ticket upgrades, get a custom screen-printed bag or bandanna and even the chance to be selected as the Target Ball Kid for a game.
- University of Minnesota Night: All associated with the University of Minnesota are invited to join their fellow Golden Gophers for U of M Night. Fans who purchase this special theme night package receive a ticket to the game, plus an exclusive, co-branded U of M/Twins “M and North Star” cap (a portion of each ticket sold through this theme night package will support the U of M Alumni Association). The night also includes a pair of ceremonial first pitches thrown by proud Golden Gopher and Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx host Joe Berry, along with U of M interim president Jeff Ettinger.
- A Horse of Course: Weather and field conditions permitting, one of the Budweiser Clydesdales will make an appearance and do a lap around the warning track prior to the game.
- Nike RBI All-Star Recognition: The Twins will recognize the club’s 15U and 18U Nike RBI Baseball All-Star teams on the field prior to the game. The two teams competed in Chicago last weekend in the MLB Nike RBI Central Regional Tournament and will be honored for representing the Twins and the RBI program.
- Special Olympics Recognition: The Twins will welcome several Special Olympics Minnesota participants to be recognized prior to the game: Rashawn Wilson, Jonathan Fredericks, Henry Hultberg, Elizabeth Miesen, Benjamin Scherber, Brenden Wamhoff, Tanya Hagen and Sarai Manjarrez-Villanueva. Additionally, participant Nash Tietz will sing the 7th Inning Stretch.

Nine lucky kids will take the field with the Twins before the top of the first inning as part of the Perkins Kids Starting Lineup.

Twins Recognize Twins: A special on-field ceremony will recognize the Rolling Twins wheelchair softball team, as they get ready to head to the Wheelchair Softball World Series in Chicago in August. The Rolling Twins team is part of a longstanding partnership between the Minnesota Twins and the Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute.

Gate Giveaway – Native American Heritage Night T-Shirt: The first 5,000 fans through the gates on Tuesday night will receive a specially-designed Native American Heritage Night T-Shirt presented by the Prairie Island Indian Community and Treasure Island Resort & Casino.
Dance/Drum Performance – Schneiderman’s Lawn/Pregame On-Field: The night will begin with a special dance/drum performance featuring members of the Prairie Island Indian Community on Schneiderman’s Lawn inside Gate 34 starting at 5:30 p.m. A second performance will take place on the field, as part of the pregame festivities.
Ceremonial First Pitch: A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown out by 11-year-old Prairie Island Indian Community member Raymond Walker.
Check Presentation: Prairie Island Indian Community President Johnny Johnson will present the Minnesota Indian Women’s Resource Center with a $5,000 check in honor of the center’s work to improve and empower the lives of native women.
Flag Raiser: The Prairie Island Indian Community Flag will be raised under the Twins Territory flag in rightfield, by community member Tishena Cree-Caballero.
National Anthem: The Star-Spangled Banner will be sung by award-winning singer and actress Tasha Campbell, a member of the Prairie Island Mdewakanton Sioux Community.
South Dakota State University Night: All associated with South Dakota State University are invited to join their fellow Jackrabbits for SDSU Night. Fans who purchase this special theme night package receive a ticket to the game, plus an exclusive, co-branded SDSU/Twins “M and North Star” cap (a portion of each ticket sold through this theme night package will support the SDSU Alumni Association). The night also includes a ceremonial first pitch by recently-retired head football coach John Stiegelmeier, who helmed the Jackrabbits for 26 years and led the team to its first FCS National Championship in January before retiring.

Wednesday, July 26 vs. Seattle Mariners presented by Kelloggs (12:10 p.m.; gates open at 10:30 a.m.)
- Education Heroes: The Twins and Morrie’s Auto Group are proud to celebrate three education heroes who have gone above and beyond to support children in their education while advancing social equity. The honorees, who were nominated by fans, are: Luis Estrada, a fourth grade teacher at Park Terrance Elementary; Megan Sabrowsky, a second grade teacher at Kenyon Wanamingo Elementary; and Sarah Lagerquist, a chemistry teacher at Wayzata High School.
