Pirates Homestand Highlights Friday, April 19 – Thursday, April 25, 2024
The Pirates return to PNC Park for the second homestand of the season with a three-game series against the Boston Red Sox and a four-game series with division-rival Milwaukee Brewers.
The homestand is highlighted by the first Youth Baseball Softball Day of the season on Sunday, April 21, Earth Day on Monday, April 22 and Education Day on Thursday, April 25.
Friday, April 19, 2024– Pirates vs. Boston Red Sox (6:40 p.m.)
Miller Lite Happy Hour: Fans can arrive early and enjoy the Miller Lite Happy Hour at the Miller Lite Landing Bar, featuring drink specials, games and more from the time gates open until first pitch!
Career in Sports Night: Join us for an exclusive pregame panel discussion with Pirates executives and human resources, as well as a resume workshop and networking session. This special ticket offer includes a Pirates-branded hard copy notebook. We encourage you to bring your club or organization with you to engage in this exciting learning opportunity.
Special Ceremonial First Pitch: The first pitch will be thrown by Steelers quarterback Russell Wilson.

Monday, April 22, 2024– Pirates vs. Milwaukee Brewers (6:40 p.m.)
- Earth Day: Pirates fans are invited to come out and celebrate Earth Day at PNC Park. This special offer features a discounted game ticket, plus a $25 of loaded value that can be used on ballpark concessions and merchandise. The Pittsburgh Pirates, known for their dedication to sustainability, are teaming up with Duquesne Light and Pittsburgh Earth Day to host a special Earth Day celebration at PNC Park. Leading up to the game, the Pirates front office is participating in several events that raise awareness for sustainability, including the Wild Earth event at the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium and the Pittsburgh Earth Day Breakfast. The pre-game Earth Day celebration at PNC Park will include group salutes for members of the Pittsburgh community committed to sustainability and will feature various dignitaries and community leaders, including Mayor Ed Gainey and representatives from Duquesne Light and Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh.

- Pup Night: Pup Nights presented by Bully Max. Tickets for Pup Night include a Rooftop ticket (Section 335-339) and a complimentary dog's ticket (limit one [1] dog per person per game). Seats are limited and subject to availability. To kick off Pup Nights this season, there will be a special Pup Pawrade pregame available for pet owners who purchased tickets to Pup Night.

Education Day: Join us for Education Day, where we combine the excitement of baseball with enriching classroom curriculum. Our interactive workbooks, developed in collaboration with dedicated teachers, adhere to the standards of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Bring Your Bucco To Work Day: In honor of the national “bring your child to work day”, Pittsburgh Pirates employees are encouraged to bring their little Buccos to work with them to experience a day game at PNC Park. These students will receive a tour of PNC Park and the opportunity to be recognized on field pregame.
