The Phillies are closing out the homestand with a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals, featuring MLB Players’ Weekend and more. Here’s a look at the highlights:
The series begins at 6:40 p.m. on Friday, August 21. All fans will receive a Wawa Kyle Schwarber Bobble Figurine. Plus, it’s Save a Pet at the Park hosted by Phillies Charities, Inc. (Gate openings: 3B/LF: 4:40 p.m.; all other gates 5:10 p.m.)

Fans are also encouraged to donate needed pet supplies, with wish list items including new or gently-used blankets, bath towels, canned pet food (no dry food, please), treats and toys for dogs and cats. Donation boxes will be located at the First Base, Third Base and Left Field Gates, as well as the Home Plate Suite & Club Entrance.
Also to benefit the Pennsylvania SPCA cause, fans can bid on team-issued and game-used autographed memorabilia during the Phillies Charities Online Auction, which is live now until August 31 at 6:00 p.m. at phillies.com/auctions. Items will be on display at the First Base Gate during Friday’s game. Highlights include items signed by Wall of Famer Chase Utley, as well as Phillies’ Jhoan Duran, Bryce Harper, Aaron Nola, J.T. Realmuto, Cristopher Sánchez, Kyle Schwarber, Edmundo Sosa, Bryson Stott, Garrett Stubbs, Trea Turner and Zack Wheeler.
Before the game, the Phillies will host a Strike Out the Stigma session presented by Park Avenue Worldwide, with the topic of Empowering Youth Athletes. Special guests will include Basketball Hall of Famer and longtime Villanova men’s basketball coach Jay Wright and BIG EAST Player of the Year and All-American Villanova basketball player Randy Foye.
