Posted a 25.6% strikeout rate with a 29.6% whiff rate and a 27.5% chase rate.

2024

Began the season at Double-A New Hampshire, where he made a total of 16 starts, going 5-5 with a 4.87 ERA (44 ER/81.1 IP) with a 3.52 FIP, a 1.22 WHIP, a .231 opponent AVG, an 8.8% walk rate, a 26.4% strikeout rate and a 28% whiff rate...Placed on the 7-day injured list (retroactive to July 5) on July 6th...Sent on rehab assignment with Single-A Dunedin, posting a 1.00 ERA (1 ER/9.0 IP) over three starts with a pair of walks, 12 strikeouts, and a 0.78 WHIP...Finished the campaign at Triple-A Buffalo, allowing three earned runs over three innings on four hits and three walks with three strikeouts...Made a total of 20 starts across three levels, posting a 5-5 record with five quality starts, a 4.63 ERA (48 ER/93.1 IP), 3.74 FIP, 1.21 WHIP, 9% walk rate and a 26.9% strikeout rate.

Spent his first season in the Blue Jays organization with High-A Vancouver, going 5-5 with a 4.81 ERA (46 ER/86.0 IP) over 20 starts with 40 walks and 106 strikeouts...Was one of only nine Blue Jays farmhands to reach 100 strikeouts on the season, and was the youngest to do so at the age of 22... Earned his first career Pitcher of the Week nod for the week of Sept. 4-10...Threw 5.0 hitless innings on Sept. 5 at TRI with two walks and eight strikeouts, allowing a runner to reach second base only once... Was named to the Blue Jays’ 40-man roster in November to protect him from the Rule 5 Draft.

Made just 8 starts for High-A Everett in 2022 after dealing with elbow and knee injuries...Pitched to a 3.99 ERA (17 ER/38.1 IP) with 20 walks and 60 strikeouts...Traded to the Blue Jays following the season along with RHP Erik Swanson in exchange for OF Teoscar Hernández.

Spent the 2021 campaign with Single-A Modesto, going 2-2 with a 4.59 ERA (17 ER/33.1 IP) over nine starts with 21 walks and 56 strikeouts.

Split his first professional season in 2019 between the Mariners’ Rookie-level squad (8G) and Low-A Everett (1G)...Combined to go 0-3 with a 3.09 ERA (8 ER/23.1 IP).
