Hit .355 as a senior in 2022 while leading the Southeastern Conference and ranking fifth nationally with 80 RBI...Was a Dick Howser Trophy finalist and Golden Spikes Award semifinalist...He ranked in the top five in the conference in slugging percentage (second, .717), total bases (second, 180), home runs (fourth, 22) and runs scored (fourth, 68) en route to being named First Team All-SEC.

2024

In his first MLB season, the versatile defender enjoyed five Major League stints, ultimately playing in 61 games at three different positions: third base (55 games), first base (five) and second base (two)...Reported to Triple-A Rochester following Spring Training, but joined the Nationals due to an injury to Nick Senzel on Opening Day...Had contract selected on March 30 and made his debut at Cincinnati that day...Became the first National (2005-present) to record a hit and a stolen base in his Major League debut...Hit his first career home run the following day, March 31 at Cincinnati...It was a go-ahead home run in the seventh inning...Became the fourth player in Nationals history to collect hits in each of his first three games...Ended the season tied for tenth among National League rookies (14th in the NL overall) with 11 stolen bases despite playing in only 61 games...On April 8 at San Francisco, became the fourth Nationals rookie to steal home, the second to record three stolen bases in a game...Had four three-hit games in his first 31, tied with Keibert Ruiz for the most three-hit games in a player's first 31 career games in Nationals history.

2023

Led Nationals Minor Leaguers with 139 hits and 29 doubles while ranking fourth in average (.272), home runs (14) and RBI (72) in his first full professional season...Led the Eastern League in hits (91) and ranked second on the Senators in home runs (10) from the his promotion (June 9) through the end of the season...Went 16-for-27 (.593) with two doubles, a triple, two homers, 10 RBI, three strikeouts and eight runs scored in six games from Aug. 1 to Aug. 6...Was named Eastern League Player of the Week for the effort...Hit .339/.370/.519 in 46 games from July 1 to Aug. 26...Named South Atlantic League Player of the Week on June 4 after hitting .429 with five doubles, a homer and seven RBI.

2022

Reported to Single-A Fredericksburg after the First-Year Player Draft...He had hits in 20 of his first 26 games...He had hits in nine of his last 12 games, including four multi-hit efforts...Hit his first career home run in his first career at-bat on Aug. 9 against Augusta.
