Graduated from North Paulding High School in Dallas, Ga., where he threw a no-hitter in 2019...Played at Georgia Tech...In 2021, pitched for Chatham in the prestigious Cape Cod League...Was originally drafted by the Yankees in the 30th round in 2019 but did not sign...His father, Tom, played basketball at Idaho State.

On 1/21/25 was invited to 2025 Major League Spring Training camp, his second (also 2024)...Led all Reds Minor League pitchers with 53 appearances...Was among Reds Minor League leaders in wins (7, T6th) and saves (5, T9th)...Began the season at AA-Chattanooga where he went 2-0 with a 1.23 ERA in 14.2 innings...When promoted to AAA-Louisville on 5/21, his 27 strikeouts ranked fourth among Southern League relievers...Earned his first win at the Triple-A level on 6/5 at Nashville...Notched his first Triple-A save on 6/28 at Toledo...In the 6-5 win on 8/17 at Omaha, reached 102.5 mph in a game-ending strikeout to earn his fifth save...Went 1-0 with a 1.29 ERA in seven appearances for Louisville in September.
