Bailey Falter resides in Mesa, Ariz., with his wife, Kylee, who he met in high school and married on Nov. 28, 2023...Pitched in five games for the Indios de Mayagüez of the Puerto Rican Winter League in 2018 and allowed just one earned run over 21.1 innings pitched (0.42 ERA)...Graduated from Chino Hills High School (Calif.) in 2015 prior to being selected in the fifth round of the Draft by Philadelphia...he was classmates with NBA players Lonzo and LaMelo Ball, as well as their middle brother, LiAngelo, who released his single “Tweaker” in January 2025 that peaked at No. 29 on the Billboard Hot 100...Was committed to play baseball at the University of California-Santa Barbara prior to signing with the Phillies...His father, Darwin, raised Bailey to be a fan of Dodgers Hall of Famer Sandy Koufax...Bailey used to do school reports on Koufax, had a framed photo of him above his childhood bed and his delivery mimics that of Koufax.

2025

Falter began the 2025 season with Pittsburgh...of his 26 appearances with the Pirates, 22 were starts, in which he went 7-5 with a 3.73 ERA (47 ER in 113.1 IP)...In his last 16 starts with Pittsburgh, a span that began in May and lasted through July, Falter went 6-2 with a 2.93 ERA (27 ER in 83.0 IP) in 16 starts, 10th best in the National League during that time...In four outings (two starts) with Kansas City, he allowed 15 runs on 20 hits in 12.0 innings...He made two starts for Kansas City and allowed nine runs across eight innings at Boston (4.0 IP, 7 ER) and vs. Washington (4.0 IP, 2 ER)...He moved to the bullpen after his start on Aug. 11 and in two relief appearances, he allowed six runs in four innings...He finished the season on the Injured List with a left bicep contusion that he suffered on Aug. 22.
