Kameron lives in Poplar Bluff, Mo...Selected by the Royals in the 33rd round of the 2016 Draft out of Poplar Bluff High School, but did not sign and played collegiately at Missouri...Hit .422 with eight home runs as a senior at Poplar Bluff High School...on the mound, he recorded a 2.13 ERA with a team-best 48 strikeouts in 32 innings...His 50 career stolen bases at Missouri rank fifth in school history...hit a team-high .360 (45-for-125) in 34 games as a sophomore in 2018 and led the nation with 32 walks before a foot injury ended his season...Selected by Miami in Competitive Balance Round A (35th overall) in the 2019 Draft…was the first Missouri position player to be selected in the first round since Steve Patchin in 1971.

2025

Made the Opening Day roster for the first time in 2025 with Tampa Bay and played in 71 games…was optioned on June 23 and finished the season with Triple-A Durham...Hit .320 (24-for-75) in 26 games through the end of April, which was the second-best batting average among rookies (min. 75 AB), trailing Jacob Wilson (.325)...After April, he hit .148 (18-for-122) in 45 games...On March 28 vs. Colorado, he became the first player in Major League history to hit his first career home run in walk-off fashion on Opening Day...Entered as a defensive replacement in left field in the eighth inning on Opening Day, and became the second player since 1969 to hit a walk-off HR in his team’s first game despite not starting, joining Willie Smith with the Cubs on April 8, 1969...Misner’s walk-off HR on Opening Day at George M. Hit .253/.355/.433 (100-for-395) with 12 HR and 59 RBI in 102 games between Class-A Beloit and Double-A Pensacola…ranked among Marlins minor leaguers in doubles (1st, 29), XBH (3rd, 44), runs (3rd, 70), RBI (4th), stolen bases (T4th, 26), walks (5th, 57), hits (6th) and homers (T6th)…played 23 games for the Mesa Solar Sox and his seven HR tied for second in the Arizona Fall League…named to the AFL Rising Stars Game…acquired from the Marlins on Nov. 30 for INF Joey Wendle…ranked by Baseball America as the No. 23 prospect in the Rays system following the season.
