2025

Had three stints with the Royals during his debut season, from Aug. 11-16, Sept. 1-17 and Sept. 18 through season’s end...Held opponents to a .143 avg. (7-for-49), including 2-for-23 (.087) against left-handed batters...Struck out at least one batter in 10 of his 13 games and recorded multiple strikeouts in six appearances...Earned his first Major League win on Sept. 10 at Cleveland, as he worked two scoreless innings of a bullpen game that the Royals won, 4-3...Posted a 1.38 ERA (two earned runs in 13.0 IP) in September, the fourth lowest in the American League (min. 10 games), behind Jeff Hoffman (0.84 ERA), Griffin Jax (0.90) and Shawn Armstrong (1.29)...Had nine straight scoreless outings (9.2 IP) from Sept. 6-25, during which he allowed just one hit and had 11 strikeouts (30.6 K%)...Was named the 2025 Mike Sweeney Community Impact Award winner, an honor he received for mentoring Royals Minor League players, especially Latin players, helping them navigate the challenges of professional baseball.

2024

Spent most of the 2024 season at Double-A Northwest Arkansas, where he made 19 starts and allowed only four HR in 82.2 innings (0.4 HR/9)...Had a 7.40 ERA (17 ER in 20.2 IP) through his first six starts at Double-A, then had a 2.61 ERA (18 ER in 62.0 IP) over his last 13 starts, six of which were scoreless...Was promoted to Triple-A Omaha for his final start of the season on Sept. 21 at Louisville...Named an Arizona Fall League Fall Star after recording a 3.07 ERA (5 ER in 14.2 IP) with 17 strikeouts (10.4 K/9) in five appearances (three starts) with Surprise.
