Miami Marlins Scholars are need-based academic scholarships that are awarded annually in two key categories:
- Legacy Scholars: Our legacy scholarships have a connection to baseball. We award two annual RBI scholarships to participants in our RBI baseball and/or softball program to support student-athletes. We have also supported the Jackie Robinson Foundation scholarship since 2010.
- First Generation Scholars: Scholarships are awarded to students who are the first in their family to attend college.
Legacy Scholars are students who have a commitment to making a significant impact in their community and live by Jackie Robinson's nine values.
