Fun at Bat

Fun At Bat is a FREE elementary physical education program designed to teach fundamental bat-and-ball skills to students in grades K-5.
Supported locally by your Miami Marlins, this program aims to grow the game by making it more accessible to kids across the country by providing schools with structured, age-appropriate curriculum and equipment that encourages physical activity, character development and inclusivity.
Designed to work in a variety of settings such as gyms, playgrounds, blacktops or ballfields, the program is easy to implement regardless of facility. The curriculum aligns with Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE America) standards, ensuring all lessons meet nationally recognized benchmarks for physical education.
By joining Fun At Bat, schools become part of a national effort supported by Major League Baseball to engage more youth in bat-and-ball sports, promote physical literacy, and inspire the next generation of players.
When you sign up for this FREE program, you will receive:
- Franklin Sports Equipment Kit – everything you need to teach the program right away
- SHAPE America Co-Developed Curricula for Grades K–5 – provided digitally in the USA Baseball Fun At Bat Teacher Toolkit

The Miami Marlins are proud to support schools throughout the area by helping bring Fun At Bat into local P.E. classrooms and creating more opportunities for students to engage with bat-and-ball sports in a fun, active, and accessible way!
