The Dodgers, winners of back-to-back World Series, aren’t doing this by accident. They acquire and develop talent with the best of them, and two of their seven MLB Pipeline Top 100 prospects are cruising again at Double-A.
Josue De Paula (Dodgers’ No. 1, MLB No. 8) homered, while Mike Sirota (Dodgers’ No. 4, MLB No. 41) collected three hits for Tulsa in a 7-3 win over Amarillo on Thursday at HODGETOWN.
De Paula contributed to a four-run sixth inning for the Drillers, launching his ninth home run of the season with a man on base. The lefty-hitting outfielder turned on a pitch at his knees and deposited it onto the berm in right-center field. De Paula, 21, now has a hit in 19 of his past 20 games and has a healthy .965 OPS on the season.
Sirota went 3-for-4 with a walk and a run scored on the day, hitting in the two hole behind De Paula in the leadoff spot. He also stole a base, his 10th of the season and second since a May 19 promotion to Double-A.
Sirota singled in the third inning on an opposite-field ground ball and scored on an Elijah Hainline homer in the next at-bat. The outfielder, serving as the DH on Thursday, then doubled on a fly ball that dropped in on the right-field line, just outside of the right fielder’s glove on a tough play. Sirota then walked in the sixth and singled to left on a ground ball in the eighth.
COMPLETE DODGERS PROSPECT COVERAGE
A 22-year-old whom the Dodgers acquired from the Reds in the trade for Gavin Lux, Sirota now has four consecutive multi-hit games and sits sixth in all of the Minor Leagues with a 1.072 OPS in 2026.
These two are making a habit of big performances, combining with fellow Top 100 prospect Zyhir Hope (No. 19) for a huge performance last week in a win over Northwest Arkansas. The Drillers are becoming must-watch baseball in the Minor Leagues.
