It has been a big week for 19-year-old Jesús Made. With the first updates to the Top 100 Prospects list of the season, Made found himself in the top spot, becoming the first Milwaukee Brewer to earn No. 1 prospect honors. And on Saturday, he hit his first and second home runs while perched on the top spot.
In his first game after rising through the ranks, Made was relatively quiet at the plate for the Double-A Biloxi Shuckers, going 1-for-5 with a double. Given a second opportunity, he wasted no time, sending a home run to right-center at DABOS Park in the top of the first inning. A solo shot, it was the switch-hitting shortstop’s fourth of the season.
But why stop there? Made upped the ante in the fifth inning, hitting yet another home run, this one into the parking lot beyond right field. It marked the first mutlihomer game of his career as took two different right-handers -- Santiago Suarez (TB No. 9) on a fastball, Roel Garcia III on a breaking ball -- deep. Biloxi went on to fall to Montgomery, 10-6.

In the mold of former No. 2 overall prospect and current Brewers cornerstone Jackson Chourio, Made has always been advanced for his age. At just eight days past his 19th birthday, he is the youngest player at Double-A, and is more than five years younger than the average Southern League hitter.
With RBIs in four straight games, Made is showing maturity at the plate well beyond his years, while his power will likely continue to develop. He is already just one home run shy of matching his 2025 total across 115 games.

There’s a lot of season left and plenty of time for Made to prove why he is baseball’s top prospect, but the pair of homers was a nice amuse-bouche of things to come.
