Minor League Baseball in the cornfields? Is this heaven?
No, it's the MiLB at Field of Dreams game between the Triple-A St. Paul Saints and the Iowa Cubs.
The Minors are returning to the iconic "Field of Dreams" movie set in Dyersville, Iowa, for the first time in four years, and it's shaping up to be one of the premier events of the summer.
The game will take place on Aug.11 at 7:30 p.m. ET -- two days before the Phillies and the Twins square off in the MLB at Field of Dreams game -- and air live on MLB Network with Paul Severino, Dan Plesac, Sande Charles and MLB Pipeline’s Jim Callis on the call.
It will mark just the second time an MiLB game has ever been played at the famous diamond, and it's sure to be packed with dynamic prospects.

As far as Twins' affiliates go, the Saints are as potent as it gets. The roster features 11 of the Top 30 prospects in the organization, highlighted by a staunch heart of the order made up of the club's top three prospects -- Walker Jenkins, Kaelen Culpepper and Emmanuel Rodriguez. Each player brings a different toolset to the table, but they all share one thing in common: the ability to drive the ball.
Jenkins -- the No. 5 overall pick in 2023 -- has the makings of a bona fide five-tool player. He ranks as MLB's No. 14 prospect and has easy 60-grade pop in his 6-foot-3 frame that pairs with a 60-grade hit tool and plus speed.
Nicknamed "Captain America" because of his resemblance to actor Chris Evans and legendary status on the USA Baseball circuit, Jenkins can do it all on the field. He shows a polished approach in the box, walking nearly as much as he strikes out (32 BB/38 K), and routinely finds the barrel with his powerful left-handed swing. In the outfield, look for Jenkins to make a show-stopping play or two, whether that's tracking down a deep fly ball with his plus speed or throwing out a runner with his 60-grade arm.
Serving as a running mates for the North Carolina product are Culpepper (MLB No. 29) and Rodriguez (MLB No. 53).
Known as a contact-guru in college, Culpepper has tapped into some pop as a pro. He was one of three Twins prospects to post a 20/20 season in 2025 and is well on his way to repeating this year with 14 homers and 17 stolen bases through 73 games. He employs a short right-handed stroke that leads to plenty of knocks.
Rodriguez -- who is currently rehabbing as he works his way back from left thumb surgery -- will likely be back in Triple-A for the team's trip to Iowa. Oft-injured, Rodriguez displays impressive pop when he's healthy, regularly launching extra-base hits and generating tons of bat speed with his potent stroke from the left side. In the outfield, Rodriguez has plenty of arm strength to nab runners who try to take an extra base.
St. Paul has an imposing lineup but watch out for Iowa's depth. The Cubs affiliate sports a roster stacked with current and former top prospects.
Jaxon Wiggins -- Chicago's top-pitching prospect -- may line up to toe the rubber at the famed field. Standing at 6-foot-6, Wiggins has one of the most electric fastballs in the Minors. It tops out at 101 mph and has significant arm-side run. He pairs the offering with a curveball, slider and changeup that can all pop at times.
Likely serving as the Cubs' backstop in the contest is Owen Ayers (CHC No. 2). Once viewed as a Minor League depth piece as a 19th-rounder in 2024, the switch-hitting backstop posted a 1.130 OPS in 20 Arizona Fall League games this past season and hasn't slowed down since. In 2026, Ayers has risen from High-A all the way to Triple-A while clubbing 23 big flies -- tied for most among Minor League catchers. He collected three knocks in his first game with Iowa, signaling he's right at home at the Minors' highest level.
Completing the trio of noteworthy prospects on Iowa's roster is Cubs No. 25 prospect BJ Murray. Like Culpepper, Murray reached the 20/20 threshold in 2025 -- the lone Cubs farmhand to do so. He exhibits a mature combination of plate discipline and pop as a switch-hitter and is slashing .300/.407/.497 through 98 games.
In addition to the collection of highly touted prospect talent that is set to take the field, Iowa also includes recently graduated slugger Kevin Alcántara. "The Jaguar" spent multiple seasons among MLB's elite prospects and still projects to become a dangerous big league bat in the future. He's mashed 17 homers through 61 games at Triple-A.
