Benefiting Fisher House
Thank you to our sponsors and guests for another successful Diamond of Dreams in 2018. Royals Charities is proud to announce that we raised $325,000 for building the Kansas City Fisher House.
Proceeds from Diamond of Dreams will support the building of a Fisher House in Kansas City. The Fisher House program provides a "home away from home" for families of patients receiving medical care at major military and VA medical centers. The homes provide temporary free lodging so families can be close to their loved ones during a medical crisis. Learn More »

Chris Lane and his sophomore album, Laps Around the Sun, have continued to produce chart toppers and jam-packed shows since his big country break just a few years ago. His 2016 album, Girl Problems, launched back-to-back, Gold-certified singles ("Fix" and "For Her") and the first Country Radio #1 of his career. This Top 10 debut landed Lane on tour with superstars like Florida Georgia Line, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill - all while helping him rack up over 400 million digital streams worldwide, network TV appearances, and more.
But with Laps Around the Sun, this rising star had a bigger, bolder picture in mind, aiming for tunes "everybody can love, and everybody can feel." The album's first single, "Take Back Home Girl" (featuring Tori Kelly) has gone Platinum because of the way it reveals who Lane really is - a true country boy with deeply rooted family values. "My goal was to make sure anyone who hears this album finds a song they can relate to," Lane said. His contemporary songwriting and heartfelt lyrics tie together all of the best of modern Nashville with the genuine spirit of classic country.

Fisher House Foundation is best known for its network of 75 comfort homes where military and veterans' families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. These homes are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, and in Europe, close to the medical center or hospital it serves. Fisher Houses have up to 21 suites, with private bedrooms and baths. Families share a common kitchen, laundry facilities, a warm dining room and an inviting living room. Fisher House Foundation ensures that there is never a lodging fee. Since inception, the program has saved military and veterans' families an estimated $400 million in out of pocket costs for lodging and transportation.
Fisher House Foundation also operates the Hero Miles Program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members as well as the Hotels for Heroes program using donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge. The Foundation also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses and children of fallen and disabled veterans.
