Royals Charities provides financial support to help improve baseball and/or softball facilities throughout the Midwest region through the Royalty Fields program. Royals Charities will match grants to help non-profit organizations and local government units that operate baseball and/or softball programs.
The next Royalty Fields grant cycle will close on Friday, September 30, 2022. Guidelines are subject to change at any time, and the most current information for applications will be posted here.

- Dugouts
Items that do not qualify are:

Eligibility
The program is open to any independent Midwest, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization or local government unit that operates a youth baseball and/or softball program in Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Oklahoma or Arkansas. The average matching grant awarded is $5,000 to $10,000. Organizations must prove that they have secured funding (monetary and/or in-kind support) in order to receive matching funds. Organizations that have not secured funding may apply for a matching funds grant but should expect to receive a Royalty Fields grant award only in the amount that has been raised by the applicant organization (if the application is approved by the Royals Charities Board of Directors.)
Application Process/Schedule
Qualifying organizations must submit an application and required documents to the Royals Charities Board of Directors. Applications will be accepted and reviewed throughout the year. Grant approval will be determined by the Board of Directors.
Applications must be emailed to [email protected] by the deadlines posted for consideration. Once the application is received and reviewed, Royals Charities may call to schedule a site visit. In addition, Royals Charities may schedule a follow-up site visit once funding has been awarded and a project is completed. Please note that if an application is not received by the deadlines listed above, it will only be reviewed if funding is available after timely requests have been considered, and the organization might be asked to resubmit during the next grant cycle.
Additional Requirements
Grant recipients will prominently display provided signage recognizing program supporters and seek local media coverage for grant dedication ceremony.
