Young was claimed on July 26 and optioned to AAA Columbus upon being designated for assignment by Arizona on July 21...Posted a 2-6 mark with a 6.26 ERA (29ER/41.2) across 30 appearances/two starts over two stints for the Diamondbacks in 2021 before the DFA, yielding 11 homers in 41.2 innings after allowing 11 homers in 46.1 IP in 2020...Made the Arizona Opening Day roster for the second straight season, was first optioned on June 29, recalled again from July 9-19 and optioned and later DFA'd on July 20...
