Twins bat boy flashes defense, catches Francisco Lindor's bat after it ricochets off screen

Indians shortstop Francisco Lindormakes the news everyday for his amazing defensive work, but during Sunday's game with the Twins he was totally upstaged ... by Minnesota's bat boy.
In Lindor's first plate appearance, his bat began flying toward the stands after a swing.
Luckily, the protective netting was there to shield the bat from flying into the stands, but the netting also set the stage for the bat boy to catch the flailing piece of lumber out of the air and promptly return it to a waiting Lindor in the batter's box:

The kid made the grab right in front of the Twins' dugout, so everyone had a perfect vantage point for his heroism. As we've seen so far this season, bat boys (and girls) have made some pretty great plays already in 2016. This is one of the strongest yet.
One has to wonder how the bat was redirected by crashing off the protective netting, because as we saw last season a bat in full flight requires special effort to reign in without incident:

Nice work all around!
