What’s Happening This Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend at Citizens Bank Park: Phillies vs. Blue Jays, August 7–9

More than 60 former Phillies players, coaches and legends will return to Citizens Bank Park for Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend as the team takes on the Toronto Blue Jays in a three-game set, August 7–9. Here’s a look at the highlights surrounding this fun-filled series, which closes out the homestand:

1. Be in your seats by 6:15 p.m. for Toyota Phillies Wall of Fame Night honoring Chase Utley on Friday, August 7, as the club’s greatest second baseman takes his permanent place in Phillies history before the 6:40 p.m. game.
Gate openings: 3B/LF 4:40 p.m.; all other gates 5:10 p.m.

2. Before the 6:05 p.m. game on Toyota Alumni Saturday, August 8, Chase Utley will return to the field to throw a ceremonial first pitch, with fellow 2008 World Series champion Carlos “Chooch” Ruiz behind the plate.
Gate openings: 3B/LF 3:35 p.m.; all other gates 4:35 p.m.

3. The series concludes on Sunday, August 9, with Toyota Phillies Alumni Day at the 1:35 p.m. game, featuring a ceremonial first pitch inspired by the MLB at Field of Dreams.
Gate openings: 3B/LF 11:05 a.m.; all other gates 12:05 p.m.
