Spent the majority of the campaign at High-A West Michigan, where he posted a 2-1 record with a 4.73 ERA (14 ER/26.2 IP) and averaged 11.1 strikeouts per 9.0 innings pitched (33 SO). Was a Spring Training non-roster invitee with Detroit. Pitched for Estrellas Orientales in the Dominican Winter League, going 2-0 with no runs allowed in 12.2 IP over 14 relief appearances. Only allowed seven hits over 50 batters faced.

Combined to pitch in 49 games between Single A Lakeland, Single A West Michigan and Double A Erie in 2022... Pitched in 10 games for West Michigan in June, compiling a 2-1 record with four saves, a 1.46 ERA (12.1IP/2ER) and 16 strikeouts... Did not allow an earned run in 18 consecutive appearances from June 14-August 14, throwing 22.0 innings and giving up eight hits with 25 strikeouts... Made four appearances with Estrellas de Oriente in the Dominican Winter League and did not allow a run in 7.0 innings, giving up four hits with seven strikeouts.
