Hit his first career grand slam on May 7 at Houston off Collin McHugh ... Hit .295 (38-for-129) with a .383 on-base percentage, .597 slugging percentage, 20 extra-base hits (9 HR) and 28 RBI in 35 games with Omaha from June 15-July 26 ... Recalled to Kansas City on July 27 and spent the rest of the season with the Royals, batting .204 (29-for-142) with eight homers and 20 RBI in 49 games ...
