Miami Marlins MLB Youth Academy
Ages 5-12 Programming
The Miami Marlins Youth Academy 5-12 programming options include four weeks of pre-season training followed by eight weeks of structured game play and practices. Practices range from focusing on baseball/softball fundamentals and agility exercises, to live-play simulations, all with the goal of increasing skill development and confidence in the sport. Each practice includes one of over 50 instructional lessons focusing on the core skills of baseball and softball. The Miami Marlins Youth Academy provides practice shirts, hats, and gameday attire for athletes participating in each season.
Every athlete’s time on the field also includes learning about Jackie Robinson's nine values, which fosters positive character development both on and off the field.
Through the Miami Marlins MLB Youth Academy Nike Jr. RBI Season, and the Miami Marlins MLB Youth Academy Fall Rookies Season, the Miami Marlins provide young athletes the opportunity to be developed into major league citizens. By reinforcing the fundamentals of baseball/softball, encouraging academic achievement, and instilling social responsibility, athletes are provided all the tools necessary to be outstanding citizens both on and off the diamond.
Jr. RBI Spring Details
- Start Date: 1st week of February
- End Date: Last week of April
- Practice Days: Mondays - Thursdays (2 times per week per team)
- Game Days: Once per week per team
- Price: $65

- Tee Ball (5 to 6 years old)
- Coach Pitch (7 to 9 years old)
- Kid Pitch (10 to 12 years old)
- Softball (7 to 12 years old)
Jr. RBI Fall Rookies Details
- Start Date: 1st week of September
- End Date: Week before Thanksgiving
- Practice Days: Mondays - Thursdays (2 times per week per team)
- Game Days: Saturday mornings
- Price: $45
