The fourth annual MiLB Awards Show aired on MLB Network on Monday night.

Minor League Hitting Prospect of the Year: Andrew Fischer, INF, Brewers
Fischer (MIL No. 5) went on a power surge unseen elsewhere across the Minors in 2026. The 2025 first-rounder out of Tennessee amassed 50 home runs during the regular season and postseason between High-A Wisconsin and Double-A Biloxi, tallying a 1.067 OPS in 126 regular-season games during his first full professional campaign. Minor League Pitching Prospect of the Year: Kade Anderson, LHP, Mariners
Seattle selected Anderson (SEA No. 1/MLB No. 5) with the No. 3 pick in the 2025 Draft, and in his first professional season, the lefty went through stretches in which he was virtually unhittable. The southpaw went 10-1 with a 1.06 ERA in 18 starts for Double-A Arkansas, where he struck out 135 hitters with just 13 walks issued in 93 1/3 innings. Seattle tabbed Anderson for his MLB debut on Aug. 22, giving him a big league cameo down the stretch. More »

All-MiLB Prospect Team
Several award winners -- such as Fischer and Anderson -- headlined the first-team selections in 2026. The Dodgers led all clubs with four representatives on the list in outfielder Josue De Paula (first), outfielder Mike Sirota (first), shortstop Emil Morales (second) and relief pitcher Jacob Kmatz (second). The Cardinals were right behind them with three representatives in Rodriguez (first), reliever Sandro Santana (first) and outfielder Josiah Ragsdale (second). Check out the full list: More »
Breakout Player of the Year: Eric Hartman, OF, Braves
The Braves got quite the find in Hartman (ATL No. 1/MLB No. 39) as a 2024 20th-round selection. The outfielder particularly excelled in 94 games for High-A Rome en route to becoming the second-fastest player to a 20-homer/30-steal season over the past two decades. Hartman, who ranked outside the Top 100 list entering 2026, became the first Minor Leaguer to finish the year with 25+ homers and 50+ steals since Andruw Jones in 1995.
Runners-up: Ramon Marquez, RHP, Giants; Nolan Perry, RHP, Blue Jays
Minor League Debut of the Year: Kade Anderson, LHP, Mariners
The southpaw did not pitch in 2025 after the Mariners drafted him out of LSU. Anderson dominated the Texas League all summer long while flirting with a sub-1.00 ERA and leading all of the Minors in numerous categories. More »

Defensive Player of the Year: Ethan Salas, C, Padres
The San Diego backstop (SD No. 1/MLB No. 21) has long been regarded for his work behind the plate, where he features a plus arm and a plus-plus glove. After 96 games between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso, the Padres promoted Salas for his MLB debut on Sept. 2 and watched as he played a role in the club clinching a playoff berth.
Runners-up: Marek Houston, SS, Twins; Druw Jones, OF, D-backs
Farm System of the Year: San Francisco Giants
The Giants finished the season with five prospects on the Top 100 list, the highest overall organizational winning percentage in baseball and the biggest jump in MLB Pipeline's farm system rankings between the preseason and midseason, from 19 to 5. Jackson Flora (SF No. 3/MLB No. 28) -- the No. 4 pick in the July Draft -- burst onto the scene and pitched in a pair of playoff series with Single-A San Jose and Double-A Richmond. Talented teenagers Josuar Gonzalez (SF No. 1/MLB No. 15) and Luis Hernández (SF No. 2/MLB No. 25) tore up the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League before finishing the season at Single-A. San Francisco also acquired Ramon Marquez (SF No. 5/MLB No. 96), who posted a 2.22 ERA in 14 outings this season, from the Phillies.

Best New Alternative Identity: Utah Dirty Sodas (Salt Lake, Angels)
The Bees won it by playing dirty. The Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels suited up as the Dirty Sodas every Wednesday home game this season. This alter ego pays tribute to customizable carbonated beverages that are supplemented with cream and syrup, a trend that began in the Beehive State before attaining nationwide popularity. More »
