Wave of the future? 3 Dodgers prospects standing out at Single-A

If you happened to be inside San Manuel Stadium on Sunday, you saw not one, not two, but three top Dodgers prospects show why they are so highly regarded.

The highest-ranking member of that trio, infielder Kellon Lindsey, the Dodgers' No. 15 prospect, recorded a career-high five hits for Single-A Ontario in its 17-9 win over Inland Empire. No. 16 prospect, infielder Chase Harlan, went deep twice for his first multihomer game in pro ball. And on the mound, No. 21 prospect Cam Leiter struck out five batters over two scoreless innings.

These performances weren't one-offs either. Lindsey's five-hit effort extended his eight-game hitting streak, during which time he's gone 18-for-37 (.486). He is slashing .429/.509/.755 with eight extra-base hits in 12 games this season. The 2024 first-round Draft pick has also stolen three bases, and there's likely many more thefts to come given Lindsey's 80-grade speed.

Harlan's two homers gave him four for the year to go along with a .333 average and a .967 OPS. He bashed a solo shot in the fourth inning and added a two-run dinger in the eighth as part of his five-RBI day. The 19-year-old Harlan has driven in 83 runs through 105 Minor League Games.

Lastly, Leiter had another successful albeit short start for the Tower Buzzers. He's made eight starts this year but has pitched only 17 innings. Yet he hasn't allowed a run in six of those eight turns while compiling a 27-to-5 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

Leiter, who can touch triple digits on the radar gun and mixes in a plus curveball and slider, was a second-round selection in the 2025 Draft. And if that last name looks familiar, yes, Cam is part of the Leiter pitching lineage. He is the nephew of Al and Mark Leiter and the cousin of current Major Leaguers, Jack and Mark Jr.
