Since its inception in 2005, the Detroit Tigers Foundation has awarded more than $26 million in grants, Tigers tickets and college scholarships throughout the State of Michigan, northern Ohio and southern Ontario, Canada. Grants have helped refurbish more than 70 youth ballfields, established three annual college scholarships, and fund Tiny Tigers, an annual t-ball and junior baseball program for more than 600 children. This is all made possible through the generosity of the Tigers organization, its fans, players and partners. Support the Foundation's mission today, with a tax-deductible on-line donation!

CASE (Careers As Sports Executives) Study Program

CASE Study Program – Detroit Chapter

The CASE (Careers As Sports Executives) Study Program is a free sports executive study program for high school students who are interested in sports – and perhaps careers in sports – but who would not otherwise have the opportunity to get the training, experience and tutelage to pursue entry-level jobs in the industry. The program aims to foster personal and professional development by offering training, experience, and guidance for students interested in pursuing entry-level jobs in sports.

50/50 Raffle

The 50/50 raffle program allows fans to support a good cause while gaining a chance to win big. Each lucky winner receives half of the raffle proceeds, while the other half benefits the Detroit Tigers Foundation, to support youth, education and recreation. Since its inception in 2008, the program has raised nearly $2 million to support the greater Detroit community.

Online Fundraisers

Autographs for a Cause

In an effort to support the greater Detroit community, Tigers players partner with the Detroit Tigers Foundation in a program called Autographs for a Cause. Through this program, players sign baseball cards in exchange for a donation to the Detroit Tigers Foundation, the club's official charity. Tigers players match donations made, and funds raised are donated to charitable organizations to support causes identified by the players. Fans should keep in mind there is some risk involved in putting an item in the mail. Although reasonable precautions will be taken, the Detroit Tigers organization, its players, staff and Foundation are not responsible if an item is lost or damaged.
