Make-A-Wish

In partnership with Make-A-Wish Michigan and the Detroit Tigers Foundation, the Tigers hosted 8-year-old Matt for a special day at the ballpark. On June 24, Matt signed a ceremonial one-day contract, took the field, met players and coaches. After signing some of his custom baseball cards for fans and warming up with Tarik Skubal in the bullpen, he then threw out the ceremonial first pitch.

In partnership with Make-A-Wish Michigan and the Detroit Tigers Foundation, the Tigers hosted 13-year-old Max for a special day at the ballpark. Max got to play catch on the field at Comerica Park, sit in the dugout with A.J. Hinch and meet players, including his favorite Tigers, Riley Greene and Spencer Torkelson.
