Youth Academy Ages 13-18 Programming

The Miami Marlins MLB Youth Academy programming for youth ages 13-18 focuses on further increasing skill development and providing the repetitions necessary to excel in the sport. The Miami Marlins MLB Youth Academy provides practice shirts, hats, and gameday attire for athletes participating in each season. Every athlete’s time on the field also includes learning about Jackie Robinson’s Nine Values, which fosters positive character development both on and off the field. Through the Nike RBI Winter Development Clinics, the Miami Marlins Nike RBI season, and the Nike RBI Fall Development Clinics, the Miami Marlins MLB Youth Academy provides athletes the opportunity to develop into Major League Citizens. By reinforcing the fundamentals of baseball/softball, encouraging academic achievement, and instilling social responsibility, athletes are provided all the tools necessary to be outstanding citizens both on and off the diamond.   • Try Out Dates: 4 total dates (TBD)

  • Age Divisions:
    • Junior Baseball Division – Hammerheads (13-15 years old)
    • Senior Baseball Division – Jumbo Shrimp (13-18 years old)
    • Softball Division – Mermaids (13-18 years old)

  • Start Date: First week of April
  • Practice Days: Tuesdays & Thursdays (subject to change)
  • Game Days: Season begins May 16 (additional dates TBD)
  • Price: Free
  • Age Divisions:
