The Fenway Bowl hosted a tailgate-style viewing party for a slate of eleven (11) ACC and AAC football games on Jersey Street outside Fenway Park to celebrate the start of the college football season and the inaugural Fenway Bowl. In addition to the watch party, fans were invited to partake in lawn games, raffles and more to kick off the college football season in style. While enjoying the festivities, attendees were invited to take photos with the Red Sox World Series Trophies from the 2004, 2007, 2013, and 2018 championship seasons. The Fenway Bowl Kickoff Event was hosted in conjunction with the 20th Annual American Red Cross 9/11 Blood Drive, taking place inside Fenway Park that day. In observance of the 20th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, the Fenway Bowl invited guest speaker Maura Heidcamp, who was present in New York City on the day of the attacks, to share her experience with attendees and partake in a moment of silence in recognition of the day.
