A fan discovered that these MLB players have eerily similar hair to certain Pokémon

Once upon a time, when the Pokémon sensation was near its early zenith in the '90s, an album of songs was released based on the games, TV show and movies. One of its tracks was called "What Kind of Pokémon Are You?"
If you're not familiar with this classic ditty, it begins like this:
What kind of Pokémon are you?
How do you do the things you do?
Share with me your secrets deep inside.
What kind of Pokémon are you?
Are you loyal through and through?
And do you have a heart that's true?
What kind of Pokémon are you?

Deep stuff, even though the singer's question is mainly being directed at Pokémon. What if it was directed at people though? Better yet, what if this question was directed at baseball players? For instance, what kind of Pokémon is Manny Machado?
Thankfully, a fan on Twitter provided many answers on Wednesday. Unprompted, she reeled off a gold mine of a Twitter thread in which she demonstrated an uncanny knack for determining which players' hair looks most like a Pokémon, starting with Machado:

That was a nice comparison, but it was just the beginning. Shanna found over 60 different Pokémon who looked like players, like Mike Trout ...

... Josh Donaldson ...

... and Russell Martin.

It's extraordinary work, and the thread should be seen in its entirety to appreciate Shanna's brilliance. That should be good enough for anyone.
Nationals closer Sean Doolittle liked his comparison so much that he shouted out her image and demanded more information on Arcanine.

The Pirates' Trevor Williams did his best to lend a hand, but he was hoping that Shanna would find a Pokémon for him too.

Shanna was kind enough to quickly oblige.

She did the same thing for Rhys Hoskins upon his endorsement of the study as well.

Stay tuned to this thread to see what discoveries Shanna makes next. We're learning so much.
Just remember that when in doubt, Ditto can transform into any baseball player.

Now that we think about it, maybe Ditto explains the eerieDansby Swanson/Charlie Culberson and Brian McCann/Evan Gattissimilarities.
