Did not factor into any decisions, posting a 6.75 ERA (6 ER/8 IP) with two walks and eight strikeouts...Made one appearance with the Athletics on Sept. 4, failing to record an out and allowing seven earned runs on six hits...Combined to go 3-5 with a 3.58 ERA (24 ER/60.1 IP), 21 walks and 54 strikeouts in 24 games (nine starts) across three different Triple-A teams: Triple-A Nashville (18 G), Triple-A Sugar Land (four games) and Triple-A Las Vegas (two games)…As a starter, went 1-4 with a 5.30 ERA (22 ER/37.1 IP), 11 walks and 29 strikeouts while opponents batted .267 (39-for-146) against him. As a reliever, went 2-1 with a 0.78 ERA (2 ER/23.0 IP), 10 walks and 25 strikeouts while opponents batted .207 (17-for-82).

2023

Spent most of the season at Triple-A Nashville, going 7-10 with a 4.18 ERA in 27 games (25 starts)...ranked third in the International League in innings pitched (140.0) and tied for fourth in starts (25)...Also had two stints with the Brewers (4/11-4/12 and 10/1-end of season)...His first outing with Milwaukee was a start on 4/12 at Arizona in place of the injured Brandon Woodruff...he took a 7-3 loss (4.2ip, 7h, 5r, 4er, 2bb, 2k, 1hr)...His second outing with Milwaukee came in relief on 10/1 vs. Chicago-NL as he tossed 2.2 scoreless innings (1h, 3k) in the team’s 4-0 win.

2022

Went 1-7 with a 4.64 ERA in 16 games (15 starts) at Triple-A Salt Lake... Also had three stints with the Angels (5/28, 6/20-6/24 and 7/27-8/4)... Went 1-1 with a 6.48 ERA in three games (two starts) with the Angels... Earned his first Major League win in a 4-0 victory on 7/27 at Kansas City as he tossed 5.0 scoreless innings, allowing four hits (1bb, 8k)... Was traded to Milwaukee in a four-player deal for OF Hunter Renfroe on 11/22.

2021

Began season with Double-A Somerset in Yankees organization and went 4-1 with a 1.78 ERA (65.2 IP - 13 ER) and 68 strikeouts in 14 games (12 starts) for Patriots...Traded to Angels organization alongside RHP Elvis Peguero on July 30 in exchange for LHP Andrew Heaney and cash considerations...Was assigned to Double-A Rocket City...During fifth and final start for Trash Pandas, carried a perfect game into ninth inning Aug. 27 at Biloxi...Ultimately pitched career-high 8.2 innings and 73 of his 100 pitches were strikes...Earned Pitcher of the Week honors...Had contract selected by Angels on Sept. 3 and made Major League debut with start vs. Texas, Sept. 5...Recorded first career strikeout vs. Rangers LF Jason Martin...Allowed three-or-fewer earned runs in all four starts for Angels...At time of promotion, rated by MLB.com as #22 overall prospect in Angels organization and #12 pitcher.
