Is the son of Jeff Conine, former Marlin and current Special Advisor to the Principal Owner...Upon his debut, joined his father as only the second father/son duo to play for Miami in team history. “Mr. Marlin” played for the organization from 1993-97 and 2003-05 (winning the 1997 and 2003 World Series). The first father/son duo to play for the Marlins came last season when Ryan Weathers joined father David Weathers (1993-96 and 2004 with Miami) after making his Marlins debut on Aug. 5, 2023 at TEX...Originally selected by Miami in the 31st round of 2015 First-Year Player Draft, but did not sign...Tabbed No. 11 on Baseball America’s list of Top 100 College prospects for the 2018 draft. Played in 30 games with Miami (21 starts) after having his contract selected from Triple-A Jacksonville on Aug. 26. Slashed .268/.326/.451 (22-for-82) with four doubles, one triple, three home runs and 12 RBI...Made his Major League debut on Aug. 26 at COL as a pinch-hitter in the bottom of the ninth inning...Made his first start on Aug. 27 at COL, going 2x3 with a double, triple, walk, two runs and an outfield assist as the right fielder...He became one of four players in the Expansion Era (since 1961) to record two extra-base hits and an outfield assist in their first MLB start, joining Scott Brosius (2B and HR, 8/7/91 vs. SEA w/ OAK), John Moses (two 2B, 9/3/82 at BOS w/ SEA) and Jimmie Hall (2B and 3B, 4/16/63 vs. LAA w/ MIN), per Elias Sports Bureau. Conine also became just the fourth player in MIA history to record an outfield assist in his first GS, joining Jerar Encarnación (6/19/22 at NYM), Mark Kotsay (7/11/97 vs. PHI) and Jesús Tavárez (5/23/94 vs. MON)...On Aug. 27 at COL, Conine and teammate Kyle Stowers became the first pair of teammates since 1974 to record both a triple and outfield assist in the same game, per Sportradar...Hit his first career home run on Aug. 31 at SF off RHP Mason Black. At 27 years and 51 days old, became the sixth-oldest player in club history to launch his first home run in any of his first five career games (Stathead). Split the season between Triple-A Jacksonville and Double-A Pensacola, appearing in a total of 110 games...Batted .253 (74x292) with 18 homers and 62 RBI with Double-A Pensacola before a promotion to Triple-A Jacksonville...Appeared in 23 games with Triple-A Jacksonville, batting .225 (18x80)...His 20 home runs in 2023, marking the fourth consecutive season with at least 20-or-more homers (all of his professional campaigns). Owns a total of 102 homers in four Minor League seasons since 2018...Appeared in 74 games (70 starts) in right field and 36 games (35 starts) in left field, compiling a combined .962 fielding percentage (7 E/917.0 innings) in the outfield...Batted .269 (74x275) against right-handed pitchers, compared to .186 (18x97) versus left-handed pitchers...Had a .305 AVG (25x82) in June and a .318 AVG (21x66) in September.

Spent the entire 2022 season at Double-A Pensacola, appearing in 118 games...Batted a career low .215 (89x414) with 15 doubles, two triples, 24 home runs and 74 RBI with the Blue Wahoos...It was his third consecutive season with at least 22-or-more home runs (since 2019, excluding 2020 season). 

2021

Split his 2021 season between Double-A Pensacola (42 games) and High-A Beloit (66 games) in his first season in the Marlins organization...Batted .218 (86x394) with 11 doubles, two triples, a career-high 36 home runs, and 84 RBI in 108 games during the 2011 season...The 36 home runs ranked tied for 2nd-most in all of the Minor Leagues (M.J. Meléndez, 41 HR), while his 86 RBI ranked tied for 19th-most in the Minors...Had three multi-homer games and 23 games with at least two hits.
