Engaged to Olivia...Made an appearance on MLB Hot Stove on 12/20/24 to discuss his relative anonymity among the White Sox fan base...Is a 2020 graduate of Concordia University in St. Paul, Minn., earning his bachelor’s degree in mathematics...Went 16-7 with a 3.04 ERA (60 ER/177.2 IP) and 203 strikeouts in 31 games (28 starts) over three seasons (2016-18) … went 7-1 with a 1.04 ERA (7 ER/60.1 IP), 79 strikeouts (11.8 per 9.0 IP) and a 0.81 WHIP as a junior in 2018...Graduated in 2015 from North St. Paul (Minn.) High School...His younger brother, Louie, currently pitches for the Minnesota Twins … his great-uncle, Carroll Hardy, played eight major-league seasons as an outfielder with Cleveland (1958-60), Boston (1960-62), Houston (1963-64) and Minnesota (1967).

Pitched in eight relief appearances for Milwaukee, going 0-0 with a 11.42 ERA (11 ER/8.2 IP)...Made his Major League debut on March 30, 2023 with Milwaukee against the Chicago Cubs…tossed one scoreless inning of relief while giving up two hits and one walk while striking out one in the no decision...Appeared in eight relief appearances for the Los Angeles Dodgers before being put on the injured list on September 10 with right knee inflammation…went 1-1 with 3.09 ERA (4 ER/11.2 IP)... Garnered his first Major League win with the Dodgers on August 23 against Cleveland, going 1.1 scoreless innings and giving up one hit and one walk while striking out three...Pitched in five games between Advanced-A Wisconsin and Triple-A Nashville with Milwaukee and 30 games (one start) with Triple-A Oklahoma City with Los Angeles for a combined 2-3 record and a 3.46 ERA (15 ER/39.0 IP).

Went 4-4 with a 6.11 ERA and two saves in 41 games (seven starts) at Double-A Tulsa... produced 85 strikeouts in 70.2 innings... His first seven outings came as a starter, going 0-3 with an 8.54 ERA (26.1ip, 25er)... his last 34 appearances came in relief, going 4-1 with a 4.67 ERA (44.1ip, 23er)... Following the season was selected by Milwaukee in the Rule 5 Draft.

2020

Did not participate in the 2020 season after the minor league season was cancelled.

2019

Made five starts for Stockton, allowing seven runs on 23 hits in 26.1 innings and striking out 27...he pitched a season-high seven innings with four hits with six strikeouts on June 26 vs. Visalia...he struck out five or more batters in four of his five games.
